Creations by Michie’ began in 2000 with the goal of creating classic children’s sewing patterns that never go out of style.  Along with an extensive collection of patterns, we also have books for Heirloom Embroidery, Beginning Smocking and a blog to share new ideas and sewing tips.

Hi, I’m Michie’ (Mi-shay), owner and designer of Creations by Michie’.  With over 35 years of experience sewing for my own children, running a custom sewing business and teaching sewing classes, I turned a hobby and passion into a business.  I have had the opportunity to travel and teach over the years including Martha Pullen’s School of Art and Fashion and have been a regular contributor to several sewing publications.  Our “For the Boys” articles are a favorite in Classic Sewing Magazine.

As the business grew and I began needing help, where better to look than family.  Tiffany, daughter-in-law, works as our general office manager handling ordering, shipping and day to day office operations.  Anna, daughter, is our graphic designer and helps with product development.  Working together as a team, we are all able work flexible schedules from our homes while caring for families and come together for meetings as needed.  We spend each day doing what we love!
