Holiday Dress With Swiss Edging

Okay, I’m in love with this Christmas Tree Swiss Edging!  As the holidays approach I don’t always have time for a labor intense dress and this dress proves that you can have awesome without handwork or smocking.  I used pattern #146, featherwale corduroy and made a slight variation to the pattern.  Never one to leave things as they are, I decided that the dress needed a red neckband to balance it out.  And although the dress would have been just as pretty without the change here is the tutorial for the neckband for those of you who would like it. ∼ Michie’
